It provides general purpose, multi-role, combat capable forces in support of domestic and international roles of Canada's Air Force. 4 Wing Cold Lake is, without question, the home of the fighter pilot. It not only hosts Canada's world-class tactical fighter force training, but also deploys and supports fighter aircraft at a moments notice to fulfill the domestic and international roles of Canada's Air Force.
The conversation between Grey and Ledsham starts off seemingly innocuous but quickly falls down an unexpected rabbit hole. The cover some of the history of the Royal Canadian Air Force, what the scoop is with the controversy he stumbled upon, and how he’s working to uncover the truth.

What’s with all the Crypto hype? Max Freeman explains...
Friday Aug 19, 2022
Friday Aug 19, 2022
In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Max Freeman have a conversation about all the hype surrounding Crypto Currency, all of the possible opportunities and challenges that are present with a new monetary system, and why it's important to continue the evolution of how we exchange goods and services.
Max is a Stanford alumni, an author, a finance and crypto/blockchain expert, and a podcaster. He's had the privilege of interviewing such notables as Saifedean Ammous, Robert Breedlove, and Mark Cuban. In September 2019 the founders at Epic Cash looked at the technologies in place for cryptocurrency transactions and saw the opportunity to enhance the “Future of Money” evolution. EPIC claims to provide a fully secure, decentralized platform, entirely controlled by the end-users for payment transactions.
The EPIC CASH project has taken a little more than two years of preparation to finally introduce this privacy blockchain to the world. Mr. Freeman started EPIC in his Stanford dorm room. That company now runs on its own with over 200 employees in 70 countries. Cryptocurrencies in general, and Bitcoin (BTC) in particular, have proven to be massively successful when it comes to maintaining a store of value. Despite all the volatility in the dollar price, the overall trajectory has been quite clear. We expect this trend will continue as more people recognize the inflationary threat inherent in fiat currencies.
Mr. Freeman shares some insights from the front lines of the Crypto wave. He has endeavored to create a financial environment that takes the best of anonymity while also maintaining security through the practical use of cryptocurrency. During the conversation Grey & Freeman explore how all this fits into our ever changing society.

Maxime Bernier explores the future of Canadian Leadership
Monday Aug 15, 2022
Monday Aug 15, 2022
In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Maxime Bernier have a conversation about the inherent corruption that exists in our current political system, how he intends to make a difference in Canadian politics, and the role current policy plays in our economy.
Maxime Bernier is a Canadian politician who is the founder and leader of the People's Party of Canada. Bernier was formerly a member of the Conservative Party and left the caucus in 2018 to form the PPC. He was the member of Parliament for Beauce from 2006 to 2019 and served as a Cabinet minister in the Harper government. Prior to entering politics, Bernier worked in law, finance and banking. He was first elected to the House of Commons as a Conservative in the 2006 election in the same riding his father, Gilles Bernier, had represented from 1984 to 1997.
Bernier held a number of portfolios in Prime Minister Stephen Harper's Cabinet. Bernier ran for the Conservative Party leadership in the 2017 leadership election. After leading eventual winner Andrew Scheer through 12 rounds of voting, he came second with over 49 per cent in the 13th round. Fifteen months later, in August 2018, Bernier resigned from the Conservative Party to create his own party, the right-wing populist People's Party, citing disagreements with Scheer's leadership. Bernier was born in Saint-Georges, Quebec, the son of Doris (Rodrigue) and Gilles Bernier, a well known radio host, who represented the riding of Beauce from 1984 to 1997, first as a Progressive Conservative and then as an independent.
For 19 years, Bernier held positions in law, several financial and banking fields, such as working as a lawyer at McCarthy Tétrault, rising up to become branch manager at the National Bank, the office of the Securities Commission of Québec as Director of Corporate and International Relations, an adviser (handling fiscal reform) from 1996 to 1998 in the office of Bernard Landry, and Standard Life of Canada as the Vice-President of Corporate Affairs and Communication. On August 23, 2018, Bernier announced that he was leaving the Conservative Party with the intention of founding a new political party.
He held a press conference at which he declared that the Conservative Party was "too intellectually and morally corrupt to be reformed", and was afraid to address important issues or articulate a coherent philosophy. Bernier is strongly critical of public health measures undertaken, having traveled to anti-lockdown protests throughout the country in 2021. On April 17, he spoke to several hundred people in Barrie, Ontario, despite being discouraged from doing so by the mayor and the area's city councilor.
Bernier & Grey explore the future of Canadian Provincial leadership, how federal interference in provincial policy decisions is making things more complicated than necessary, and why today's leadership is trying to avoid discussing “western alienation”.

Peter Holle on how important ”Think Tank’s” are in influencing policy
Monday Aug 08, 2022
Monday Aug 08, 2022
In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Peter Holle have a conversation about how he came to organize a powerful "Think Tank", some of the work he has been doing to help evolve the system of Government, and why it's so important to challenge the status quo.
Peter Holle is the founding President of the Frontier Centre for Public Policy, an award-winning western Canadian based public policy think tank. Since its founding in 1997, Frontier has brought a distinctive and influential Prairie voice to regional and national debates over public policy in areas such as core public sector reform, housing, poverty, aboriginals, consumer-focused health care performance, equalization, rural policy and much more.
The Frontier Centre for Public Policy is an independent, western Canada based public policy "think tank" with offices in Winnipeg, Regina and Calgary. Their mission is to develop and popularize policy choices that will help Canada's prairie region live up to its vast but unrealized economic potential. Of the nearly 100 recognized think tanks in Canada, Frontier is one of only 5 to make the 2008 global “Go-To Think Tanks” list published by the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program of the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia.
Mr. Holle has worked extensively with public sector reform and has provided advisory services to various governments across Canada and the United States. His publications have appeared in various newspapers and journals including dozens of newspapers, the National Post and the Wall Street Journal. Peter has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is a member of various organizations including the Mont Pelerin Society, an international organization of classical liberals.
Holle & Grey have a conversation about the evolution of government systems, why it's important to have a group of educated minds working to solve complex problems, and what he has done as a policy maker.

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Carl Trueman have a conversation about gender identity, the role sexuality plays in modern society, and why gender roles are a good thing.
Carl R. Trueman (born 1967) is a Christian theologian and ecclesiastical historian. He was Professor of Historical Theology and Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he held the Paul Woolley Chair of Church History. In 2018 Trueman resigned his position at Westminster to become a full-time undergraduate professor at Grove City College, serving as Full Professor in their Department of Biblical and Religious Studies as of the fall semester of that same year. Carl Trueman is professor of biblical and religious studies at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania.
He has written more than a dozen books, including Histories and Fallacies: Problems Faced in the Writing of History, Luther on the Christian Life, The Creedal Imperative, and The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism, and the Road to Sexual Revolution. Historian Carl R. Trueman shows how influences ranging from traditional institutions to technology and pornography moved modern culture toward an era of “expressive individualism.” Investigating philosophies from the Romantics, Nietzsche, Marx, Wilde, Freud, and the New Left, he outlines the history of Western thought to the distinctly sexual direction of present-day identity politics and explains the modern implications of these ideas on religion, free speech, and personal identity.
Dr. Trueman and Mr. Grey unpack the idea of gender identity and the role it plays in western culture, the importance of sexual identity in the way we collaborate as a society, and why it's important to have these roles to forge a future where everyone fits.
