Carbon Tax hikes are crushing the Canadian Economy

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Jay Goldbeg have a conversation about the elephant in the room when it comes to increasing tax hikes and inflation, why the banks and the governments continue to repeat the same song and dance expecting different results, and how the Trudeau administration has more than doubled Canadian debt.
Jay spent most of his career in academia, where he was most recently a policy fellow at the Munk School of Public Policy and Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. Jay was motivated to leave academia and join the CTF after seeing the consequences of high taxes, high deficits, and government waste on everyday Canadians.
Mr. Goldberg grew up in Toronto and spent some time living in Vancouver. He currently lives in Guelph with his wife Caroline. Jay is an avid reader of history and enjoys spending time with his dogs, Winston and Lincoln. Jay holds an Honour’s Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of British Columbia.
The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is a citizens advocacy group dedicated to lower taxes, less waste, and accountable government. Jay wrote in a recent article for the Toronto Sun "Ford’s temporary gas tax cut has delivered much-need relief for Ontario taxpayers. But once the new year rolls around, Ford’s relief will be long forgotten if he doesn’t get to work on a plan to deliver something permanent."
Jay and Leighton start with the big issues when it comes to government spending and unexpected surplus after a pandemic, how the government is mismanaging the Canadian budget, and why it’s a terrible idea to start taxing the rich because of an unaddressed trickle down effect.

Why is everyone talking about climate change now?

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Dr. Patrick Moore have a conversation about the evolutionary timeline of the earth, the role that the human species has played in those cycles, and some of the biggest climate change myths.
Dr. Patrick Moore has been a leader in the international environmental field for over 30 years. He is a founding member of Greenpeace and served for nine years as President of Greenpeace Canada and seven years as a Director of Greenpeace International.
Beginning his career as an activist/leader in the Greenpeace movement Patrick now concentrates on collaborative efforts aimed at finding environmental solutions. He speaks and lectures frequently at universities, community meetings and conferences.
As the leader of many campaigns Dr. Moore was a driving force shaping policy and direction while Greenpeace became the world's largest environmental activist organization. In recent years, Dr. Moore has been focused on the promotion of sustainability and consensus building among competing concerns.
In 2005, Moore criticized what he said were scare tactics and disinformation employed by some within the environmental movement, saying that the environmental movement "abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism". Moore contends that "most of the really serious environmental problems have been dealt with", and that the environmental movement seeks to "invent doom and gloom scenarios".
Since leaving Greenpeace, Moore has frequently taken sharp public stances against a number of major environmental groups, including Greenpeace itself, on many issues including forestry, nuclear energy, genetically modified organisms, and pesticide use.
Dr. Moore is an accomplished author and photographer and recently published "Green Spirit – Trees are the Answer", a book on forestry and the environment. He believes strongly in the multi-stakeholder, consensus-based approach to resolving conflicts involving environmental, social, and economic issues.
Moore and Grey take a deep dive into some of the climate change myths that have become politicized in recent months and why it’s so important to continue to question the narrative, how the media has sensationalized these myths to further political agendas, and what we should be doing to create a healthy and promising future for the human species.

Former Gold Medal Olympian Jamie Sale Cancelled for Speaking Out

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Jamie Sale have a conversation about how the Gold Medal Olympian came to be an active and outspoken voice in the media questioning mandates and the mainstream narrative, what happened when the cancel culture took over and she was faced with attacks on her character, and some of the work she is doing in tandem with Canadians For Truth.
Jamie Rae Salé (born April 21, 1977) is a Canadian former competitive pair skater. With her former husband David Pelletier, she is the 2002 Olympic Champion and 2001 World Champion. Jamie Sale is best known for her career in Figure Skating, and was successful in winning the Gold Medal for Canada in pairs skating in the 2002 Olympics. This was after many years of competitive figure skating, where she placed 3rd or better 22 times with 16 Championship Honours.
Salé was born in Calgary, Alberta. She competed first as a singles skater, winning the novice bronze medal and placing eighth in junior ladies at the Canadian Championships. In 1994, Salé won the short program and finished with the bronze medal in the junior event at the Canadian Championships. That same year, she achieved her biggest success to date by winning the senior bronze medal with her pairs partner, Jason Turner.
Jamie is certified through The Life Mastery Institute to be a Dream Builder Coach and a Life Mastery Consultant. She enjoys serving others, helping them live a life that they would love through the transformational programs she offers as a personal life coach.

Dr. Eric Payne wins the court battle to keep his job after denying the mRNA vaccine

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Eric Payne have a conversation about what happened when he wrote a 19 page letter to the COllege of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, the data and references he used to make his case when he went to court to fight the mandates imposed by Alberta Health Services, and why we should be pushing back against the novel gene therapy masquerading as a vaccine.
Dr. Payne is a Canadian Pediatric Neurologist and researcher who completed his medical training at the University of Calgary, Mayo Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and Harvard University.
Eric wrote a 19 page letter to the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta council - which has since gone viral - addressing his position and protesting the possible loss of his job.
In a recent article released by The Western Standard Payne was quoted as saying “I am a father of three young children and remain very much pro-vaccine. While I refuse to take this novel experimental mRNA therapy, my wife, children, and I are completely vaccinated, including yearly flu shots."
Payne wrote in his letter addressed to the CPSA "these current mRNA vaccines represent a dramatic departure from using, for instance, live attenuated viruses. Rather, they represent a completely novel and experimental therapy with no long term data."
Payne and Grey explore the data that has been hidden from the public by the powers that be, why it’s so important for us to demand accountability in our health officials, and some hope for the future in the changing tides of our leadership.

The World Economic Forum is Planning the Theft of Canada!

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Robert McCarter have a conversation about how he came to learn about an alarming agenda set forth by Klauss Schwabb and the World Economic Forum at a dinner party, the research he’s done in lieu of learning this information from a senior member of the Canadian Military, and some speculation as to what and why Canadian’s may be in trouble.
Robert McCarter is a retired science teacher living on Vancouver Island. He has a BSc (honours) in Zoology from the U. of Western Ontario and a M.Sc. from the U. of Guelph in Environmental Physiology.
Mr. McCarter recently learned of the nefarious agenda set forth by the World Economic Forum, lead by author Klauss Schwabb, and decided to fearlessly step forward to bring to light the wrongdoings of many of our representatives and leadership in Canada.
Robert wrote in a recent article on the FCPP blog "What we now know as “The Great Reset” has been in the works for a while, I first learned of the Great Reset for Canada back in August 2019 when I had a chance dinner conversation with a senior officer in the Canadian military."
McCarter learned from a letter written by a member within the Liberal Party of Canada that "the federal government will offer to eliminate all personal debts” in exchange for forfeiture of “all property and assets forever” and an agreement “to partake in the Covid-19 vaccination schedule”. This would allow them “unrestricted travel and unrestricted living even under a full lock down” using something called the Canada HealthPass.
McCarter and Grey explore the idea of education reform to help reshape our future as Canadians, why it’s important that we collectively continue to foster a prosperous economy to support social programs, and why it’s so important for us to question the narrative being presented to us in the mainstream media.

Pfizer admits they have insufficient data to make the claim that vaccines are safe or effective

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Ted Kuntz have a conversation about the data behind safety and efficacy of all vaccines, how the pharmaceutical companies have infiltrated the government and media to capitalize on uninformed citizens of North America, and how the recent technology of the Covid 19 Vaccine is not actually what they claim it is.
Ted Kuntz is a father, a medical choice activist, and an educator. Kuntz's journey to examine the claims of the vaccine industry began after his son Joshua was neurologically injured by the DPT shot in 1984.
Kuntz began a journey to understand what happened to his son when he suffered adverse effects of the DPT vaccine. This journey revealed that the vaccine industry has been systematically and intentionally dishonest with parents on the safety, effectiveness and necessity of vaccinations.
Ted strongly believes the organized and pervasive effort to deny citizens their right to medical decision making for themselves and their children is the greatest threat to humanity today. If we lose the capacity for choice over what is injected into oneself and our children, then we are no longer free citizens.
In his book "Dare to Question" Ted acknowledges that while there is evidence that some vaccines have been effective in the suppression of some infectious diseases (measles, chicken pox, whooping cough), the total impact of the artificial stimulation of the immune system on overall health is not well understood or established.
Vaccine Choice Canada was founded in the 1980s under the name Vaccination Risk Awareness Network and adopted its current name in 2014. The group has been contributing to vaccine awareness in Canada, educating citizens on immunization and working with legislators to support anti-vaccine regulations and legislation in Canada to allow for individuals to have the right to choose what happens to their bodies.
VCC, its chapters and members exist to actively educate all Canadians about the risks of vaccines, to protect the ethical and legal right of informed consent and bodily autonomy, and to safeguard a legal caregiver’s right to make medical decisions for their dependents and individuals under their care.
Kuntz and Grey share a conversation about the history of vaccinations in North America, how the Covid 19 vaccine isn’t actually a vaccine, and how government and media manipulation has played a huge role in denying citizens the right to informed consent.

More than a dozen firefighters are suing the City of Calgary

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Stephen Whitehead have a conversation about how Stephen came to practice family and constitutional law, what it’s like dealing with pandemic issues in the Canadian Judicial System, and how he’s been working to fight tickets that were issued during the pandemic restrictions.
Stephen has been an associate lawyer primarily practicing in Family, Civil and Constitutional Matters since June 2021. He practices out of an office in Calgary and is also called to the bar of the Yukon and Northwest Territories. He can serve clients all across all three regions.
Stephen completed his undergrad at U of C in French Literature and Law Degree at Thompson Rivers University. In the past, Stephen played and coached football. He coached for eight years before hanging up his whistle (for now).
Since the start of the pandemic, Quebec has issued millions of dollars in tickets for public health violations, but only a fraction of them have actually been paid so far, according to provincial data. From April 1, 2020 to Dec. 31, 2021, authorities have handed out a total of 30,488 tickets to citizens and businesses for not following measures under the Public Health Act.
Whitehead and Grey have a conversation about some of the cases they are working on including an update from Tim Stephens, a previous guest on the Grey Matter Podcast, the progress the legal team has made during the ongoing legal battles that have ensued, and how they hope things turn out as they continue the work they are doing.
More than a dozen firefighters are suing the City of Calgary over its mandated policy for employees, claiming it violated their rights. Nineteen Calgary firefighters are seeking $38 million in damages from the city, according to a statement of claim filed with the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench on July 7, which amounts to $2 million per firefighter.

Taking Back Our Freedoms one person at a time

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and George Bears have a conversation about how George came to be the co-founder of the Taking Back Our Freedoms organization, the role he played in providing support for the notorious Canadian Freedom Convoy, and why it’s so important that we all take action to prevent a tyrannical government in Canada.
Mr. George Bears, a strong visionary, and a principled influential leader, has developed expertise working with charitable and commercial enterprises, corporate donors, financial institutions, and lenders, and has secured funding for oil and gas, mining, real estate development, the tech sector, and for charitable organizations.
George served for 5 years (1986-1991) in Ottawa, as National Director with Victims of Violence in the Canadian Criminal Justice System, advocating in Parliament and across the country, for surviving family members who lost loved ones to homicide. He personally spearheaded Canada’s first and only national unsolved homicide research and identification program. He also established a National Missing Children’s registry.
George worked with key federal Members of Parliament to make many critical policy changes to parole regulations, and he played a significant role in the extradition of serial killer, Charles Ng, who sits on death row at San Quentin, California, for the premeditated murder of 12 innocent men, women and children.
George continued to work with key political leaders for additional causes over the years. He was one of the founders and directors of the Foundation for National Policy Trust Canada, a public policy action group working with Roy Beyer on a national campaign to defend traditional marriage. This campaign, with Roy’s leadership, went on to win 26 key ridings in southern Ontario and Manitoba to help elect Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
TBOF was originally founded to push back against and secure the full repeal of all COVID-19 vaccination mandates. During our struggle against these immoral, unethical, and unconstitutional measures, we realized that the pandemic’s entire mismanagement and resulting restrictions were merely a symptom of a greater malaise in Canadian society.
TBOF’s Vision is to empower Canadians to recreate their country as the loving, just, and compassionate nation it was meant to be. To reclaim our institutions through local and national citizen engagement. To proliferate a culture of individual duty for the health of our democracy and to rapidly and regularly hold public officials personally accountable when they do not uphold the best interests of the people.

Could multiculturalism be a misguided idealism?

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Salim Mansur have a conversation about the big difference between the multicultural idealism that Canadians understand and multiethnic principals that have challenged the state of our collective culture, the problem with Canadian politicians and how they’re heavily influenced by foreign organizations, and what Canadians can do to reclaim the country.
Salim Mansur is a Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. He is a former columnist for the London Free Press and the Toronto Sun, and has contributed to various publications including National Review, the Middle East Forum and Frontpagemag.
Mansur was born in Kolkata, India and moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada where he completed his doctorate studies in political science. He was a candidate for the People's Party of Canada for the 2019 Federal election.
Salim is an academic-consultant with the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C. He has been a consultant with CIDA on development issues and has published widely in academic journals on foreign policy matters and area studies of the Middle East and South Asia.
Mansur said in 2009 that Climategate revelations "falsified" a theory associated with the claim of man-made global warming.[21] He has also suggested that climate scientists, "corrupted by the lure of money and influence, subscribed to the UN-based scheme for the largest global tax grab and revenue transfer.
Professor Mansur specialized his focus on international relations and comparative politics with special interest in the politics of South Asia and the Middle East. He has written extensively on these topics since 1994 with his first publication "The Indira-Rajiv Years"
Mansur and Grey explore the idea of modernity and its role in our collective cultural evolution, why it’s important to make a distinction between tolerance and political correctness, and why he is championing his message in spite of the cancel culture backlash.

Gas giant ATCO under fire as employee lawsuits unfold

In this episode Constitutional Lawyer Leighton Grey and Matthew McCarthy have a conversation about his role in the ATCO company, how they rolled out the mandates and incentivized their mandate program, and why he decided to say no.
Matthew is among more than 30 ATCO employees who have launched court action against the Calgary-based energy company for requiring employees to be "fully vaccinated" against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Most of the ATCO employees listed as plaintiffs are not vaccinated, oppose being vaccinated for various personal reasons, and all oppose being required to attest to their vaccination status.
In a recent interview with The Western Standard Matthew said ATCO brought forward a "vaccine incentive program" before the mandates were put in place offering all employees $1,000. "This was done to further coerce the employees, as well as a clever way to find out what percentage of their employees were vaccinated, without actually asking"
ATCO introduced its Workplace Vaccination COVID-19 Standard policy on Oct. 28, 2021 that required all employees to "demonstrate they were vaccinated or have an approved exemption" and "disclose their private health information" by January 1, or face being placed on an unpaid leave of absence. Employees who still had not complied by May 2 were terminated.
