Brian Peckford is a Canadian politician who served as the third premier of Newfoundland from 1979 to 1989. Peckford became a business consultant and has sat on numerous boards since leaving politics including the board of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation in the 1990's. He has recently made headlines after speaking out against Justin Trudeau and the Liberal government for the way they handled The Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa.
